Overview
Located about 70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, the Củ Chi Tunnels represent a miniature yet ingenious and adaptable battlefield created by the soldiers and people of Củ Chi during the prolonged and fierce resistance spanning 30 years against invading forces, striving for the nation’s independence and freedom. With its remarkable achievements, the Củ Chi Tunnels have become part of Vietnam’s heroic history, regarded as a 20th-century legend, and have gained worldwide recognition. This unique military marvel features approximately 250 km of underground tunnels spreading like a spider’s web, connected to a series of facilities such as trenches, bunkers, combat posts, living quarters, meeting halls, medical stations, storage for food supplies, wells, and Hoang Cam kitchens.

07:00: Car & tour guide pick you up at the meeting point, the group begins the journey to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Site. On the way, the tour guide will interact and connect members on the car with historical stories or games to bond.
08:30: The group arrives at the Memorial of Heroic Mother of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Ranh in Cu Chi to offer incense and pay respect to the woman who devoted 8 children and 2 grandchildren to the Revolution.
09:30: You will visit Ben Dinh Tunnels - part of the Cu Chi Tunnels system built during the nation's resistance war against the French (from 1946 - 1948).
When visiting Ben Dinh Tunnels, visitors will watch a documentary in the hall and listen to an introduction about the history of the formation and development of the Cu Chi tunnel system. In addition to visiting the tunnel system, the accommodation, activities, and meetings of the leaders of the Cu Chi District Party Committee, the weapons manufacturing tunnel, the exhibition house of homemade weapons... there is also a complex trench system, with a tunnel leading to the Dong Du base, where the 25th Division of the US, nicknamed "Tropical Lightning", was stationed. And even more interesting, visitors will see the wreckage of an M41 tank of the US army that was caught in a mine planted by guerrillas in 1970 lying in the middle of the forest. This is proof of the failure of the US army on the Cu Chi battlefield when facing an invisible army underground.
You will experience crawling, crawling, and moving in the tunnels like during the Resistance War against the French and the Americans, and experience watching the people of Cu Chi make rice paper and rice wine.
In addition, you also have the opportunity to practice shooting at the shooting range in the tunnels
10:30: The group leaves Ben Dinh, arrives at Ben Duoc Tunnels (about 20 minutes away). You will visit and offer incense at the Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial Temple - a beautiful architectural work with statues and memorial steles. You will spend time visiting the temple to learn about the history of the war and remember those who sacrificed for the country
Noon: You will have lunch at the restaurant.
Afternoon: You will continue to visit and explore Ben Duoc Tunnels:
The tour guide will take you deep into the forest with the melodious music of resistance songs, mixed with the chirping of forest birds to the hall area to watch a documentary and listen to the female narrators in black Ao Ba Ba costumes, wearing sandals, conical hats, and scarves around their necks, introducing the history of the formation and development of the Cu Chi tunnel system. After that, visitors will visit the actual tunnel with the works located deep underground such as: The living and working bunker of the leaders of the Regional Party Committee, the Saigon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh Military Region Command, the meeting bunker, the surgical bunker, the A-shaped bunker to prevent collapse when bombs and artillery explode nearby, the bunker containing food and weapons, the secret lid, the vent, the fighting nest, the water well, the Hoang Cam kitchen, the engineering workshop, the military uniform sewing factory, the house that cuts sandals, the house that displays homemade weapons...
In particular, visitors will witness with their own eyes a very creative invention in hiding the smoke of the Hoang Cam kitchen and enjoy the dishes of the guerrillas in the past that have now become specialties: Rice balls, cassava with salt and beans.
15:00: The car takes the group back to the original pick-up point, say goodbye and see you again in the next program
