Chau Hong Ha is a border area of China adjacent to Lao Cai province, possessing the majestic beauty of natural mountains and forests mixed with ancient architectural works that are thousands of years old. 00:30: You arrive at the meeting point, board the sleeper bus to depart for Lao Cai at 01:00 am.
06:00: Arrive in Lao Cai, the group has breakfast on their own.
07:00: You complete exit procedures to Hekou (China) through Lao Cai border gate.
07:30: Arrive in Hekou, the car & tour guide pick up the group, take the group to Binh Bien (distance 100km - 2 hours by car)
Noon: The group has lunch at the restaurant, enjoys typical dishes of the Binh Bien region.
Afternoon: After lunch, the car takes the group to visit:
- Mieu Tich Thuy Village: known as "little Phoenix Ancient Town", possessing a unique beauty interwoven between natural scenery and indigenous culture of the Miao people in Yunnan, Miao Trai attracts countless domestic and foreign tourists every year. Here, you can rent ethnic costumes to take photos and check in
14:00: You get on the car to move to Khai Vien - an attractive tourist destination with many historical and cultural relics and beautiful natural landscapes (distance 114km - 2h20p by car)
16:20: Arrive at Khai Vien, the group visits:
- Phoenix Mountain Ecological Park: a comprehensive park focusing on ecological conservation and integrating wetland tours, lakeside entertainment, experiencing historical customs and physical training tours.
- Khai Vien Clock Tower: European architectural masterpiece in the heart of China
18:00: You return to the hotel to check in and rest, then the group has dinner at the restaurant.
After dinner, the group returns to the hotel to check in and rest. You are free to explore the night market and enjoy the special local dishes of Khai Vien. Overnight at a 4-star hotel in Khai Vien.
07:00: You wake up early to have breakfast at the hotel and then check out.
08:00: The group departs for Mong Tu (distance 50km - more than 1 hour by car). The group continues to visit the store selling and introducing Silk, Medicine and local specialties.
Lunch: The group has lunch with the specialty dish "Bun Qua Cau". After lunch, continue to visit and take photos at Bun Town - Located near Hong Ha Avenue, the bridge bun town is divided into 7 functional areas: industrial park, creative culture area, commercial area, specialty food area, boutique homestay area, digital industrial area, night market economic area including: dining, entertainment and other entertainment activities... The entire town has a garden-style and ancient structure - a smokeless town with green bricks and black tiles, small bridges and flowing water that make you feel like you are living in the Tang and Song dynasties with the poetic Jiangnan garden as the backdrop. The bridge bun town is not only a feast for the eyes, but also a place where visitors can taste the delicacies of Hong Ha district and fill their hungry stomachs with the local specialties. Noon: The group will have lunch at a restaurant and then move to Jianshui - the city of ancient houses (distance 74km - 1h30p by car)
15:00: Visit Jianshui Ancient Town: one of China's famous historical and cultural towns, where there are more than 50 well-preserved ancient buildings, famous as the "Museum of Ancient Buildings and Houses". Here the group will visit:
- Zhu Family Garden: The Zhou family garden was built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty by Zhu Weiqing, a local courtier, next to the ancestral house. This is a typical garden with a strong southern character, with high architectural and artistic value.
- Zhaoyang Tower: Built in the 22nd year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1389) for more than 600 years, it is one of the main symbols of the long history of Jianshui, China.
- Song Long Bridge: long famous as a large stone arch bridge with two spans and seventeen holes, located at the junction of Lo Thuy River and Thap Thon River. It is named so because the two rivers curve like two dragons.
- Jian Shui Xi Men: is likened to “little Tiananmen”
Evening: In the evening, the group is free to have dinner and explore Jian Shui cuisine at Jian Shui Night Market, enjoying the specialties here.
Strolling along the winding alleys of Jian Shui China will give you a great opportunity to taste the attractive specialties, from the popular steamed chicken pot, lion cake to the legendary Lin An grilled tofu that you can find at the street stalls.

Morning: The group has breakfast at the hotel and then checks out.
08:00: You will visit, learn and shop at Ngoc shop and then move to:
- Huong Hoi train station: no longer a bustling train station but has become a silent witness of history and is one of the "valuable" stops for those who love the old, nostalgic features.
Noon: The group has lunch at the restaurant
13:30: The group gets on the bus to return to Ha Khau.
16:00: Arrive at the border gate, the group completes immigration procedures to return to Vietnam.
18:00: The sleeper bus picks up the group from Lao Cai to Hanoi. You will have dinner on your own.
23:30: Arrive in Hanoi, say goodbye and see you again in the next program!
