06:00: Car & tour guide pick you up at the meeting point, depart for Bac Kan (now Thai Nguyen province). On the way, the car stops for the group to rest and have breakfast (breakfast costs are self-sufficient).

11:30: You have lunch at the restaurant.

14:00: Arrive at Buoc Lom wharf - the boat wharf at Ba Be Lake, you board a boat to visit the special places. Sitting on the boat gliding gently on the emerald green lake, visitors will feel like they are lost in a peaceful fairyland. The beauty of the clouds, sky and water waves here is like a picturesque landscape painting that makes visitors forget all their worries and sorrows.

  • Fairy Pond: located in the corner of Ba Be Lake, is a small lake nestled between a mountain rising high above the lake. Legend has it that this is where the fairies used to sit and play chess.
  • An Ma Temple: The temple is located on a small mountain in the middle of the lake. Formerly a temple to worship the Mac family, but later renamed “An Ma”. The two words “An Ma” in the Tay ethnic language mean “peaceful grave”, the resting place of the loyal subjects of the Mac family.
  • Widow Island: a small, pretty island located right in the center of the lake, associated with the story of the formation of Ba Be Lake.

17:30: The car takes the group to check in and rest at the ecological stilt house in Pac Ngoi village of Ba Be tourist area.

18:30: You will have dinner at the restaurant. After dinner, you are free to relax.

Morning: You will have breakfast at the restaurant and then check out. The car and tour guide will take you to Cao Bang.

11:30: Arrive in Cao Bang, you will have lunch at the restaurant.

14:00: After lunch, the car will take you to Pac Bo relic site - a place associated with Uncle Ho's activities in the early stages of returning to the country to lead the Revolution (1941 - 1945). You will visit prominent relic sites such as:

  • Coc Bo Cave (Nung language means "source") is about 80m2 wide, the cave entrance is only wide enough for one person to pass through. This is where Uncle Ho and his revolutionary comrades stayed from February 8, 1941 to mid-March 1941. In the cave, there is still a set of tables and chairs where Uncle Ho used to sit and work with revolutionary cadres and translate important documents.
  • Lenin Stream - Karl Marx Mountain: the upstream stream of Bang River, during his time in Pac Bo, Uncle Ho often sat fishing in this stream. Up to now, the relic still retains its relatively intact landscape.
  • Milestone 108: now milestone number 675, is one of 314 ancient Vietnam - China border markers, made of monolithic stone, oval-shaped, about 70cm high, with content engraved in Chinese and French.

16:00: The car takes the group back to Cao Bang City to check in and rest.

Evening: You will have dinner at the restaurant. After dinner, you are free to rest at the hotel or explore Cao Bang at night. Overnight in Cao Bang.

07:30: After breakfast, the car and tour guide will take you to Ban Gioc Waterfall - considered a place with majestic scenery, like a fairyland in Quay Son River, Cao Bang. The waterfall not only has the beauty of majestic natural landscape, but also immerses you in the legendary love story of a couple from the mountainous region.

Located on the Vietnam - China border, the waterfall is over 60m high with the longest slope of 30m. Divided into many successive limestone layers and spread out to hundreds of meters. In the middle of the waterfall is a large mound of land covered with many green trees, dividing the river into three different branches.

10:30: After that, you will continue to explore Nguom Ngao Cave - located in the heart of a mountain in Gun village (Trung Khanh, Cao Bang), nearly 5 km from Ban Gioc Waterfall. The cave was discovered in 1921, put into tourism exploitation in 1996 and recognized as a national scenic spot in 1998.

  • Nguom Ngao Cave is one of the longest and most beautiful caves in Vietnam with many rich legends of the Tay ethnic group. Nguom Ngao in Tay language means "Tiger Cave". Legend has it that in the past, there were many fierce tigers living in the cave, people set traps to catch all the tigers and from then on lived in peace. Therefore, the Tay ethnic group named the cave Nguom Ngao.
  • Inside the cave, you will admire the "four pillars of heaven" area with stone pillars that look like pillars supporting the sky; the central area with a large space; the treasure area with stalactites sparkling with gold and silver.

Lunch: You will have lunch at the restaurant. Then get on the bus back to Hanoi

Evening: Arrive in Hanoi, the bus takes the group back to the original pick-up point, say goodbye and see you again in the next program.
